U.S. Embassy opens website to provide AIDS information
The United States Embassy, in conjunction with the AIDS Information Centre International (AICI), has announced that it is opening a website that provides information about AICI, its activities and programs, newspaper stories on HIVAIDS, and contact information. The website was developed by the Public Affairs Section of the embassy and the AICI which was initiated by the Nigerian Library Association and funded by the embassy in 2005 to equip the centre with relevant resources to disseminate accurate and authoritative information on HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Information Centre International disseminates information on HIV/AIDS in the federal capital territory Abuja and surroundings.
