Sun eyes on Indian pharma and media industry
After making it in ITES, telecom and manufacturing space, Sun Microsystems India is looking at the retail, healthcare and media sectors for its Identity Management Software (IDM). Sun Microsystems is now talking with 3-4 major retailers of the country and looking for more clients in the ITES space for its IDM software. The company is organising meetings with Chief Information officers across different sectors in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and others to discuss issues related with security and identity management. The company is planning to launch the upgrade version of Solaris by next month.
