Space Hospitals plans to set up more 126 new telemedicine centers in India

Chennai (India) based telemedicine services provider Space Hospitals is planning to set up 126 new telemedicine centers across Tamil Nadu, India by the end of this year 2007. The organization is planning to establish 38 satellite medical centres and nine regional association hospitals to expand its networking of small and medium healthcare institutions in rural areas to a handful of major hospitals. The company is planning to set up 500 satellite medical centres, 800 telemedicine centres and 40 regional associate hospitals across the country in 2007. Currently the company is providing services through an alliance of 14 major super speciality hospitals in India.
