Teleconferencing enhances health quality in Leamington District Hospital of UK
Tele-Conferencing is coming as a new technology to enhance the quality of health care. The Leamington District Memorial Hospital of UK is using tele-conferencing to enhance the quality of health. According to Lori Feltz of Ontario’s Telemedicine Network (OTN), teleconferencing is becoming more popular and it is connecting patients in real time video format. CareConnect, North Network and Video Care Telemedicine network have merged together to create OTN and the Ontario Ministry of Health would support it. Staff and board members for consultations with other medical professionals use them across the province and to continue to educated staff. The video conferencing machine is just look like flat screen computer with a camera, which can be positioned and moved to allow for viewing of the entire room.
