Counterfeit medicines endangering lives worldwide: INCB
As per the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) President Philip O. Emafo, unregulated sales of pharmaceutical drugs, including counterfeit medicines, are undermining national drug laws and regulatory authorities while threatening the lives of patients. The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) has warned that unofficial drug sales, due to a lack of standards, result in substandard and even lethal medications going to unsuspecting customers. Unregulated sales in places such as street markets and the Internet of both internationally controlled and counterfeit drugs endanger the lives of people worldwide. This can be a critique of e-health.
