Hinduja group to invest $1.5 billion in India

The multi-million dollar Hinduja group has finally revealed its plans of investing in India’s sunrise sectors like healthcare and insurance.

The group is currently holding discussions with some overseas insurers for launching insurance business in India. They already have good expertise in running hospitals, such as the 351-bed Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. The group plans to invest around $1.5 billion in new ventures over the next 7-8 years.
