Danish firm provides global PACS access
Danish firm Medical Insight has released a new version of its EasyViz product which provides remote access to electronic medical record (EMR) and diagnostic imaging systems. According to Medical Insight, the remote access product can provide entry to Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) and EMR systems “from any side of the world.” The system is said to extend the reach of any PACS or EMR system by providing fast access to images and tools on any PC, from anywhere outside a healthcare facility. EasyViz is based on adaptive streaming technology and server-side computing.
