EHTEL celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Members, friends, colleagues and all eHealth enthusiasts in Europe were invited by The European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL) to the Symposium ‘Joining for Visions of Person-centric Health’ on the association’s tenth anniversary. The two-day conference will be held on 21-22 October 2009, in Brussels, and will be hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). The symposium will convene between 100 and 150 policy makers, users, researchers and vendors. The progress in the area of eHealth over last ten years is to be reviewed by the Keynote speakers and there is to develop healthcare visions for the future. Presentations will highlight individual aspects of eHealth such as reality checks on telemedicine, the state of reimbursement for telehealth services, regulatory matters, and continuity of care supported by telemedicine in hospital and ambulatory care. A panel will convene protagonists of new health and eHealth trends and representatives of various eHealth stakeholder groups to debate latest trends and visions.
