Integration of paper and digital imaging and communications in medicine
iCloud DOCS, iCloud Inc.’s newest addition to their suite of SaaS/Cloud medical solutions offers integration of paper and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) images with zero‐footprint secure, immediate web‐based access anywhere in the world. Through their partner company CAD|CAM Services, Inc., iCloud supports all imaging ‐‐ including intelligent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) paper documents and DICOM diagnostic images. iCloud DOCS can be fully integrated with any client’s existing clinical trial software systems or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, providing added efficiencies that can help minimize errors and maximize medical providers’ time. iCloud DOCSText‐based Search Capability, enables users to fuzzy search MS Office files, scanned OCR’d images and DICOM headers.
