MDI, Dhii join hands to perk up lab info management system
The deal is aimed to increase MDIs effectiveness in patient management and administration of investigation in its chain of labs
Mumbai: Mumbai“based MDI Laboratories, a subsidiary of the Medizinisch Diagnostiche Institute of Germany, has joined hands with Hyderabad “based Dhii Health Tech to provide laboratory information management system (Dhii-WebLiMS) to increase its laboratory effectiveness in patient management and administration of investigation in its chain of labs and making the lab part of process automation solution.
MDI has a chain of laboratories spread across multiple locations in India, while Dhii is a leading provider of healthcare IT product development, services, consulting, and manage IT services organisation.
Patient management and process control in a chain of labs are great challenges faced by the current diagnostic laboratories. To ensure quality lab data, a laboratory information management system, or LIMS, would be the most sophisticated and useful tool that plays a key role in advanced process control and performance monitoring.
Dhii-WebLiMS, is designed to address the information requirements for processes that handle the patient management and administration of investigations in a lab or a chain of labs. Dhii-WebLiMS helps to record and disseminate information for day-to-day operations of labs and addresses their strategic decision making needs at click of the mouse.
