Women and Children Hospital to Get New Block under NHM

The Women and Children Hospital at Thycaud will soon get a maternal and childrens block under the National Health Mission (NHM) project.
According to the Health Minister V S Sivakumar, the new block will be built at a cost of Rs 10 crore under NHM. Also, a dialysis unit will be started and a doctor will be appointed at the General Medicine Department.
The minister announced this while inaugurating a slew of projects – a new canteen, dormitory and sewage primary treatment plant – at the Thycaud Womens and Children Hospital.
