Zydus Hospitals Eyes Gujarat, Aims to Invest Rs 1k Crore
Zydus Hospital will soon open its second 550- bed super-specialty hospital in Ahmedabad with an investment of Rs 550 crore. Also it plans to invest Rs 1000 crore in Gujarat in coming 5-6 years.
According to Pankaj Patel, founder, Zydus Hospitals, the group aims to become a regional hospital chain by launching hospitals in different parts of Gujarat.
The hospital offers treatment in core specialties such as cardiac care, critical care, trauma care, orthosciences, renal sciences, neuro sciences and transplant medicine.
Out of the total 550 beds in Zydus Hospital, 30 percent are intensive care beds. With a 300 member strong team comprising full time specialists, intensivists, nurses and paramedics, the hospital offers round the clock critical care services.
