Asian Institute of Medical Sciences receives ‘Green OT’ certification Testimony to world-class healthcare

Asian Institute of Medical Sciences awarded Green OT certificate
Asian Institute of Medical Sciences has become the first hospital in Faridabad to receive Green OT (Green Operation Theatre) certification.
Green OT certification is an effective reassurance for the patients regarding safe and healthy practices being followed inside operating rooms. It is an independent third party assessment by Bureau Veritas in context of the processes and protocols being followed inside an operating room

The certification requires a collaborative month-long effort from all the levels and departments, such as Quality Control, Biomedical, Purchase and Anaesthesia.

Overall, 75 of Indias top private hospitals had enrolled to undergo Green OT Certification process. The certification protocols were developed by Bureau Veritas in association with Abbott India and the hospital was audited by Bureau Veritas on 23rd March 2016. Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad has successfully completed the GREEN OT Certification process against the 45 standards specified by Bureau Veritas. Total 27 hospitals across India have been given this certificate, but Asian Institute of Medical Sciences has scored the maximum 98 per cent.
Asian Institute of Medical Sciences becomes the first hospital in the Faridabad district to receive this certification. The OT environment plays pivotal role in reducing the risk of post-operative infections.
