Belle Vue Clinic, Medanta-Medicity join hands to open liver clinic in Kolkata
Haryana-based Medanta-Medicity and Kolkata-based premiere super specialty hospital Belle Vue Clinic have come together to set up a liver clinic offering advanced treatment to patients in eastern India.
There are plans to set up a world-class liver cure unit at the new Belle Vue Clinic at Rajarhat, however, the new facility will take a few years to be established and it will have a liver transplant unit as well, Belle Vue Clinic CEO P Tondon said.
Medanta Liver Institute Chairman and Chief liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon Dr A S Soin and Medanta Director of Hepatology Dr Sanjiv Saigal will conduct the Medanta Liver Clinic in Kolkata every month. Dr Manoj Agarwal, senior consultant and gastroenterologist, Belle Vue Clinic, will also be associated with the clinic and available for urgent consultations, a statement said.
