Public-Private Partnership Model Future of Indian Health System

Regarding PPP we had a good experience in Uttrakhand. We had our public health care (PHC) system under the National Urban Health Mission based on the PPP where private partners were NGOs. Government officials accept the private sector with positive intent. If private partners come to us, we give them proper opportunity to serve. We have learnt a lot from Rajasthan as it is one of the leading states in healthcare. We all should look forward to PPP as it is the future of our country. The partnership between the government and private sector should be positive.
