AMTZ empanels Elets Technomedia as official Knowledge Partner

Elets Technomedia has been empanelled as official knowledge partner by Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), an enterprise dedicated for medical device manufacturing.
An official empanelment memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on the sidelines of three-day partnership summit of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), held from Feb 24-26. A total of 25 MoUs worth Rs 5,090 crore were also signed at the summit.

Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. has been empanelled as knowledge partner. You may now render consultation/knowledge/technical services to manufacturers and scientific service providers in the domain of your service, AMTZ said in a statement released last Friday.

Many national and international dignitaries including Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu Union Industry and Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and senior bureaucrats were present on the occasion. The partnership summit aimed to bring investment, foster innovations and to bring all stakeholders on a platform to facilitate policy dialogue.

Earlier, to strengthen the existing healthcare facilities in the State, Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) announced many measures including launching of 3D printing facility for fitting implants and affordable glucometers for every household.
The announcement was made by Dr Jitender Sharma, CEO, AMTZ while speaking during the summit in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. He further said that AMTZ will also manufacture CT scan machines within a year, the first in the country to do so.
There is not a single manufacturer of CT scan machines in India but now a 16-slide machine will come up in Vizag MedTech Zone. The high-end facility at AMTZ would include an antenna of 40 gigahertz capacity. There is also the requirement for more sophisticated and precise devices such as implants, Sharma while speaking at Medical Equipment session said.
