JP Nadda inaugurates Haryana’s first AMRIT pharmacy
In a move to strengthen generic medicine availability across the State, Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Saturday inaugurated Haryanas first affordable medicines and reliable implants for treatment (AMRIT) pharmacy.

The pharmacy would be the primary selling point of medicines at subsidised rates.

The inauguration was part of the national deworming initiative introduced by the Union Health Ministry against intestinal worms infections among children.
AMRIT retail pharmacy was first launched at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in New Delhi, selling medicines”used for treating cancer and heart diseases”in an affordable rates.
