Rajasthan: Hemant Gera gets additional charge as MD, NHM, and ex-officio, State Health Assurance Agency
In a major reshuffle of IAS officers in Rajasthan, Hemant Gera has been assigned an additional charge as Mission Director, National Health Mission, and ex-officio, State Health Assurance Agency.
The 1997-batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer, Gera is currently holding the post of Medical education Secy in Government of Rajasthan.
In past, Gera held various key posts including Collector & District Magistrate, Udaipur; Divisional Commissioner, Jodhpur; Commissioner, Jaipur Municipal Corporation in the Government of Rajasthan.
Gera is among 10 IAS officers who have been transferred or given additional charges including Dr Samit Sharma.
Dr Sharma, who currently holds the post of Mission Director, National Health Mission has been given responsibility as commissioner labour and managing director Rajasthan skill and livelihood mission.
