Coronavirus menace in India: Positive cases surge to 415; death toll seven
It looks like novel Coronavirus has set alarm bell ringing and turned on the panic button worldwide with authorities of various countries undertaking severe measures to contain the fatality which has been on the rise. More than 14,000 people have died across the globe with China, Italy, are among the worst affected countries where the virus has caused the mayhem.
In India, the virus has infected more than 400 people as death toll mounted to seven. As per the latest report, a total of 415 people have been infected. Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are among the worst affected States even the central government along with states are trying hard to contain the menace. Different measures have been announced by the Centre as well as by the States.

On Sunday, a complete lockdown was observed across countries after prime Minister made a strong appeal to do so to defeat the virus. A desolate look could be seen on roads in different parts.
Late in the evening several tough measures were announced including lockdown in 75 districts across countries, cancellation of all passenger trains till March 31, metro rails stopped in Delhi till same date, most of the private and government hospitals closed and citizens were directed to stay at home.
