Krishnan Ramachandran starts new inning at Max Bupa as MD & CEO
Max Bupa Health Insurance has appointed Krishnan Ramachandran as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the company announced recently.
An industry veteran Krishnan brings with him an experience of 23 years, across Health insurance, Healthcare & Life Sciences industry. His last stint was at Apollo Munich Health Insurance as its CEO.
He has played a key role in shaping the evolution of the health insurance industry in India, through leadership roles in the CII Policy & Standards Committee, on Health Insurance, a ET report said.
Responding to the development, exhilarated Krishnan Ramachandran said, “Health Insurance continues to be the fastest-growing segment in the non-life insurance industry and is set for quantum growth. He holds an MBA degree from IIM Kolkata, and a BTech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT Madras.
