Citing ‘loneliness’ Rajasthan govt allows Covid patients to meet family members
In an endeavour to provide relief to Corona patients who are usually overpowered by stress and other such issue at isolation wards, the Rajasthan government has announced certain measures.
As per an official order, such patients would be allowed to meet family members now, wearing PPE kits. In addition, they have also been permitted to seek home-cooked food under certain protocols.

Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary, Health department recently issued the order keeping in the mind the loneliness of corona-infected patients and the stress caused because of it.

According to the instructions, family members of patients can meet them by adopting all protective measures such as PPE kit, mask, gloves and maintaining required distance during visiting hours decided by the hospital.
Besides, family members of patients can also give them home cooked food according to the prescribed protocol. The officials have also been directed to ensure sufficient quantities of wheel chairs/stretchers and a small oxygen cylinder at the help desk.
