NEET 2020: Counselling dates announced, check details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the counselling schedule of NEET 2020 on its official website–mcc.nic.in. The counselling would be conducted for 15% all India quota, AIQ seats and the seats offered by Central and Deemed Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER institutes.

As per the report, registration, payment and choice filling for the first round of NEET 2020 counselling would begin from October 27, 2020 and continue till November 2, 2020.


The announcement of the seat allotment result would be declared on November 5, 2020. The second round of counselling would begin on November 18. Medical Counseling Committee, MCC had recently also released an important notice in regards to the category options. Candidates who had earlier applied under Indian/Others category and now wish to apply under Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Quota may change their status to that of NRI.

The NEET 2020 exam was conducted on September 13 and result declared on October 16. Odisha’s Soyeb Aftab and Delhi’s Akansha Singh created history by scoring 720 out of 720 marks in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test 2020. NTA has already released the NEET provisional answer keys of all the sections of the NTA NEET test and NEET OMR sheets of the candidates.
