While addressing a keynote address on the occasion of Elets Healthcare Transformation Summit held recently, Dr Saurabh Dalal, National Professional Officer, Emergency, Risk & Crisis Management, World, Health Organisation (WHO) – India, said: “The on-going pandemic has taught several lessons to healthcare fraternity — particularly improvement and policy acceleration in healthcare, which will have huge impact in coming days.
Now, we are very much positive about the outcomes and final shape of the future healthcare scenario in our country.”
“We all are sharing best practices to others. Learn from each other and fine tune our policies to tackle the pandemic. There are 2,600 WHO field personnel all across states, hospitals, cities and districts who are working day and night hand in hand with the government at the lowest till highest level. We are committed to work with all the stakeholders including Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Niti Aayog, NDMA and several state agencies. We have to assimilate all the learning which we have gathered. Covid-19 has been a continuous learning process. We grew as we learn,” he said.
