Bharat Biotech, CSIR-IICT Join Hands for Domestic Vaccine Raw materials Development
Bharat Biotech International (BBI) with two other companies has joined hands with the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) in an effort to locally develop raw materials for vaccines and biotherapeutics.

BBI has reportedly inked a master collaboration agreement with the companies of Biovet and Sapigen Biologix. These companies would offer necessary financial support to CSIR-IICT to develop key raw materials, as per the agreement. These companies would also perform in vitro and in vivo studies to boost the development of potential vaccine candidates, besides providing financial support. Also, these firms will reportedly carry on research work together for designing bio-therapeutic formulations.
