Ravi Shastri Gets the Maiden Covid-19 Vaccine Dose
The head coach of India’s men’s cricket team Ravi Shastri has received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in Ahmedabad. “Got the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Thank you to the amazing medical professionals & scientists for empowering India against the pandemic,” he said in a tweet with his photo receiving the shot. “Extremely impressed with the professionalism shown by Kantaben & her team at Apollo, Ahmedabad in dealing with COVID-19 vaccination.”
The coronavirus vaccines rollout began on Monday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicking off the country-wide Covid-19 inoculation drive by receiving the Vaccine shot at AIIMS in New Delhi.
