Siemens Healthcare India Appoints Vivek Kanade as Managing Director Operations
Siemens Healthcare India has said that it elevated Vivek Kanade as Managing Director Operations with effect from April 1. Kanade had joined the medical solutions major 27 years ago as an executive director before his promotion as MD.
Siemens Healthcare India is a subsidiary of Germany-headquartered Siemens Healthineers AG, the medical tech arm of the diversified German Siemens group.
Kanade, according to the company, will continue to lead the business for Siemens Healthineers India, including manufacturing, sales and distribution, strategy for ‘zone India’, comprising neighbouring nations of Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
During his long stint with Siemens, Kanade (48) held various positions across diverse functions. This includes sales, service management, regional management, and modality management. Before joining Siemens Healthineers in India, Kanade was Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for the refurbished business which is based in Forchheim, Germany.
