Covid-19 Updates: India Logs 60,471 Daily New Cases in 24 Hours, Lowest in 75 Days
India reported 60,471 daily new cases in the last 24 hours; lowest after 75 days. It registered 2,82,80,472 total recoveries across the country so far as 1,17,525 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours. The country’s active caseload declined to 9,13,378.
The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 33rd consecutive day with recovery rate increased to 95.64%. The weekly positivity rate dropped to less than 5% and currently is at 4.39%. The daily positivity rate is at 3.45%, less than 5% for eight consecutive days.

Also, the testing capacity ramped up as 38.13 crore tests total conducted, and 25.90 crore vaccine doses administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
