Covid-19 Updates: India Logs 84,332 New Cases in 24 Hours, Lowest in 70 Days
India has reported 84,332 new cases in last 24 hours; lowest after 70 days. It registered 2,79,11,384 total recoveries across the country so far as 1,21,311 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 30th consecutive day with recovery rate increases to 95.07%.
India’s active caseload declined to less than 11 lakhs (10,80,690) after 63 days as active cases decrease by 40,981 in the last 24 hours.
The weekly positivity rate drops to less than 5%, currently at 4.94% and the Daily positivity rate at 4.39%, less than 10% for 19 consecutive days. Testing capacity ramped up to 37.62 crore total tests conducted. Also, 24.96 crore vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
