Covid-19 Updates: India Reports 51,667 Cases, Inoculates 60.73 Lakh Vaccine Doses in 24 Hours
India reported 51,667 new cases in the last 24 hours. Its active caseload declines to 6,12,868. The country’s total recoveries stand at 2,91,28,267 until now as 64,527 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 43rd consecutive day, with the recovery rate increases to 96.66%.
The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 3.00%, and the daily positivity rate at 2.98%, less than 5% for 18 consecutive days. The testing capacity has been ramped up and 39.95 crores tests have been conducted so far.
Also, India administered 60.73 lakh vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, and it administered 30.79 crore vaccine doses so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
