Covid-19 Updates: India Reports 91,702 New Cases in 24 Hours
India reported 91,702 new cases in last 24 hours. It registered 2,77,90,073 total recoveries across the country so far as 1,34,580 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Also, recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 29th consecutive day and recovery rate increases to 94.93%.
India’s active caseload further declined to 11,21,671 with a net decrease of 46,281 in active cases in the last 24 hours. Less than 1 lakh cases for the fourth day.
Weekly positivity rate is currently at 5.14% and daily positivity rate at 4.49%, less than 10% for 18 consecutive days. Testing capacity substantially ramped up to 37.42 crore tests total and 24.6 crore vaccine doses administered so far under nationwide vaccination drive.
