AIIMS Delhi Trains Pediatric Nurses for Possible Covid-19’s Third Wave

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi is reportedly conducting a the three-day training programme at its pediatric department as India’s premier medical institution assess the possible third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Begun on July 12, the training programme was conducted on a rotational basis in three batches in the course of three days. It will conduct training sessions for nurses from the hospital’s all Covid-19 department wards, news agency ANI reported. This training is reportedly coordinated by AIIMS Delhi College of Nursing.


Earlier AIIMS Rishikesh had also conducted a similar training programme for its nurses, besides setting up a separate 100-bed Covid ward for kids on account of a possible Covid-19 pandemic’s third wave. Also, AIIMS Bhubaneswar trained its nurses focusing on responding to the third wave.
