Covid-19 Updates: India Logs Over 34 K Daily Cases, its Lowest in 111 Days
India reported 34,703 new cases in last 24 hours; lowest in 111 days. Its active caseload declined to 4,64,357; lowest in 101 days. The active cases constituted 1.52% of total cases.
The country registered 2,97,52,294 recoveries unit now as 51,864 patients recovered during last 24 hours. The daily recoveries continued to outnumber the daily new cases for the 54th consecutive day. Also, the recovery rate increased to 97.17%.

The weekly positivity rate remained below 5% as it stood at 2.40%, and the daily positivity rate is 2.11%, less than 3% for 15 consecutive days.
The testing capacity ramped up as 42.14 crore tests conducted, 35.75 crores vaccine doses administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
