Covid-19 Updates: India Records 38,164 Fresh Cases, Inoculates 40.64 Crore Jabs
The union health ministry said that India reported 38,164 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours. It added that 38,660 patients have recovered during the same period. This has taken the country’s total recovery count to 3,03,08,456.
At present, India’s active caseload is 4,21,665, the health ministry informed, adding that active cases comprise 1.35% of the total cases. The country’s recovery has risen to 97.32%. The weekly positivity rate, it also said is 2.08% and the daily positivity rate is 3% for 28 consecutive days.

The testing capacity augmented to 44.54 crores tests and 40.64 crores vaccine doses administered until now under the government’s nationwide vaccination programme.
