Covid-19 Updates: India Reports 39,361 Fresh Cases in 24 Hours
India reported 39,361 fresh cases in the past 24 hours. Its active caseload stands at 4,11,189 and active cases constitute 1.31% of the total cases, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said.
According to MoHFW, the country has witnessed 3,05,79,106 so far as 35,968 patients recovered during the last 24 hours, and the recovery rate is presently at 97.35%. The weekly positivity rate, it added, is below 5% as it stands at 2.31% and the daily positivity rate is 3.41%.
The country has inoculated 43.51 crore vaccine doses until now under the nationwide vaccination drive, MoHFW said. “The testing capacity substantially ramped up – 45.74 crore tests total conducted,” it added.
