Covid-19 Updates: India’s Fresh Corona Count is 43,509
India logged 43,509 fresh Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Its active caseload is 4,03,840 and active cases constitute 1.28% of the total corona cases, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said in a statement.
According to MoHFW, the total recovery count is 3,07,01,612 as 38,465 patients recovered in the past 24 hours; recovery rate stands at 97.38%. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, presently at 2.38%, and the daily positivity rate is at 2.52%.
The country, the ministry said, has administered 45.07 crore vaccine jabs under the nationwide vaccination programme. The testing capacity, it added, “substantially” ramped up and 46.26 crore tests were conducted.
