Covid19 Updates: India Reports 46,617 New Cases
India reported 46,617 new cases in the last 24 hours. Its active caseload declined to 5,09,637, and active cases constituted 1.67% of total cases.
The country registered 2,95,48,302 total recoveries until now as 59,384 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. The daily recoveries continued to outnumber the daily new cases for the 50th consecutive day, with the recovery rate increasing to 97.01%.
The weekly positivity rate remained below 5% as it currently stood at 2.57%. The daily positivity rate stood at 2.48%, less than 5% for 25 consecutive days.

The testing capacity ramped up as 41.42 crore tests conducted, and over 34 crores vaccine doses administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
