Covid-19 Updates: India Logs 40,120 Fresh Cases
India reported 40,120 new cases in the last 24 hours. Its active cases constitute 1.20% of the total cases; the lowest since March 2020. India’s active caseload currently is 3,85,227. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.13%. The daily positivity rate is at 2.04%; less than 3% for the last 18 days.

The country witnessed the recovery of 42,295 patients during the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery tally to 3,13,02,345. It achieved the highest ever recovery rate; currently at 97.46%. India conducted 48.94 crores and administered 52.95 crore vaccine doses until now.
