Covid-19 Updates: India Records 44,643 Fresh Cases
India registered 44,643 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Its active caseload stands at 4,14,159, it added.
According to MoHFW, the country’s active cases constitute 1.30% of the total cases. It also said that 3,10,15,844 people have recovered across the country so far as 41,096 patients recovered during the last 24 hours, and the recovery rate is 97.36%. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.41%. The daily positivity rate is at 2.72%; less than 3% for the last 11 days, the health ministry also said.
The country administered 49.53 crore vaccine doses and 47.65 crore tests conducted until now.
