Covid-19 Updates: India’s New Cases Stand at 38,353
India’s fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours stand at 38,353. Its active caseload currently is 3,86,351; lowest in 140 days and the active cases constitute 1.21% of total cases; lowest since Mar 2020.
The country achieved the highest ever recovery rate; currently at 97.45%. It registered 3,12,20,981 recoveries across the country so far as 40,013 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.34%. The daily positivity rate is 2.16%; less than 3% for the last 16 days.

India administered 51.90 crore vaccine doses so far under the nationwide vaccination drive and conducted 48.50 crore tests.
