Need to increase number of young health practitioners
“As all of us have witnessed, the coronavirus pandemic has made health more important than anything else. With everyone trying to better their health and with medical institutions constantly seeking better healthcare methods, it becomes vital that the government sets aside a considerable budget for 2022. It would be immensely beneficial if there is an increase in stipend of young medical practitioners to encourage more participation and hence reduce doctor to people and nurse to people ratio. An increase in the number of young practitioners in the field of healthcare would help in efficient functioning of medical and healthcare facilities in India. Coronavirus pandemic has made all of us realise and witness the need for efficient functioning of the healthcare sector. Healthcare sector has been the main force, working day in and day out to cope up with increasing covid cases and newer variants. For India to have better healthcare, it is essential for the budget to fulfil these expectations.”
