Medica Group of Hospitals welcomes Dr. Nandakumar Jairam as new Chairman

Dr. Nandakumar Jairam has been appointed as the new chairman of Medica Group of Hospitals, replacing Founder and Former Chairman Dr. Alok Roy.

Dr. Jairam has a wealth of experience in the nation’s healthcare system. He has held previous positions at Columbia Asia Hospitals in India as Chairman, CEO, and Group Medical Director as well as Chairman of the NABH under the supervision of the QCI (Quality Council of India) and Chairman of the FICCI Health Services Committee. He has participated in the IRDA and FICCI Health Insurance Forum. He also holds the positions of President of GAPIO and Founder Member of NATHEALTH.

Dr. Roy has made a tremendous contribution to Indian healthcare. For more than 35 years, he has built numerous medical facilities across the nation, including the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Kolkata, the BM Birla Heart Institute in Noida, the Manipal Heart Foundation in Bangalore, and Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore.
