Wockhardt Foundation awarded ‘Pharma CSR Organisation of the Year 2010’
eHealth BureauWockhardt Foundation has been conferred with the prestigious Pharma CSR Organisation of the Year Award, at ‘The Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit 2010′ held recently. Wockhardt Foundation won the awards with the maximum numbers of votes (13,666) under the leadership of Huzaifa Khorakiwala who through his Human Values has created a team of dedicated warriors to work towards the upliftment of the poor weak and needy.’The Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit 2010’ under the theme ‘Limitless Leadership – Bringing Today, Tomorrow and Beyond’, was presented by Pharmaleaders and Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.Speaking on the occasion, Huzaifa Khorakiwala, CEO, Wockhardt Foundation, said, “The need & necessity for CSR has become a quasi – moral obligation for corporates in recent times. Shri Salman Khurshid, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Corporate Affairs & Minority Affairs has placed a great emphasis on CSR & is working on ways to make it mandatory.”
