EC calls for proposals for study of deployment of eHealth services
For studying the deployment of eHealth services across Euorpe, the European Commission has launched a call for proposals. The study aims to develop a standardised survey on adoption of eHealth solutions and Information Communication and Technology in hospitals. Some other objectives of the study are to identify challenges, loops and best practices in order to further support the policy development initiative in the eHealth field that will follow the i2010 strategy. EU27, Norway, Iceland and Crotia are the areas to be included in the study.
Detailing the call for papers it was mentioned that the chosen contractor would be required to liase with the relevant associations and International organisations. The contractor will also be expected to analyse similar studies carried out outside Europe, in order to rule out semantic and terminological differences to a large extent.
