Patient takes Mayo

Mayo Clinic has collaborated with Digital Cyclone to develop a software application, which will deliver an array of health information and tools directly to mobile phones. InTouch wireless health programme of the Mayo Clinic will enable wireless subscribers to receive health information directly on their mobile phones. These health information includes first aid tips, a symptom checker, which provides self care guidelines or advises emergency care for more than 45 common symptoms in adults and children, health news videos, health alerts and drug watches. Additionally, subscribers can enter their city or ZIP code to search nearby emergency and urgent care facilities from 3800 qualified doctors. If your mobile phone has global positioning system (GPS) capability, then it automatically finds nearby qualified provider without typing the city code and ZIP code.  Users can subscribe to the InTouch  programme from https://www.mayoclinic.com/
