Canada is going to support health research in developing countries
Canada’s Government has recently announced that for doing research on health along with developing countries, CA $ 20 million will be spent. The grants will be given via the Global Health Research Initiative (GHRI), along with Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Health Canada, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). There are 13 research teams who are going to receive more than CA $20 million in funding through the Teasdale-Corti Team Grants. The researchers, policy-makers and practitioners, will work together to find solutions to the world’s most pressing health issues.
