Haryana set to promote four surgeons as directors in Health Department
The Haryana Government is all set to promote four Civil Surgeon-level officers of the Health Department as Directors on Administration, NHM Mother and Child Health, HSHRC and AIDS Control Society.
Health Principal Secretary, Amit Jha, is said to have written to the Health Director General, Satish Agarwal, to send a proposal of suitable doctors to fill-up the four posts.
According to reports, names of Dr VK Bansal, Civil Surgeon, Panchkula; Dr Veena Singh, Principal Medical Officer, Panchkula; Dr Sonia Khullar, working against the post of ED, HSHRC; and Usha Gupta, Joint Director working against the post of Director in the NHM, have been recommended.
Of the four officers, three are the wives of senior IAS officers in the state government.
