IAS officer Bhupinder Kumar appointed as NHM director
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir today has appointed Bhupinder Kumar, IAS officer, as mission director NHM (National Health Mission).
He has also been given additional interim charge of director health services Jammu.
So far, kumar was working as an additional chief utive officer, Shri Amaranath Shrine Board.
Prior to the appointment of kumar, Dr Yashpal Sharma was at the helm of affairs.
The Union Government of India had told state governments to post an officer as NHM director experienced in field and handled assignments like district development commissioner, director to acquire sufficient expertise in handling funds, preparing plans and implementing various government schemes.
