Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar Takes Charge as Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare
Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar took charge as the Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare today. She is succeeded by Ashwani Kumar Choubey who resigned hours before a major Cabinet reshuffle of PM Narendra Modi’s government on Wednesday.
Mansukh Mandaviya also joined as her senior as he took charge as the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare today. He succeeded Dr Harsh Vardhan.

The newly-appointed ministers received by senior officers of the ministry, including Rajesh Bhushan, Health Secretary; Vandana Gurnani, Additional Secretary and Mission Director, NHM (MoHFW); Dr Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary (Health); Vikash Sheel, Additional Secretary (Health); Alok Saxena, Additional Secretary; Dr Sunil Kumar, DGHS (MoHFW); Arun Singhal, CEO, FSSA, among other key officials.
