Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launches Green Ribbon Initiative for awareness about mental health
The Green Ribbon Initiative was launched by the Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for awareness of Mental Health during the Mental Health Awareness Week observed from 5th to 10th October.
Green ribbons were distributed among the officials of the Union health Ministry and media persons by the Health Minister for raising awareness about developing a healthy mind with an optimistic approach eliminating all the negativity.

The initiative or the event was organised by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in partnership with Hansraj College, Delhi with the presence of Dr. Sunil Kumar, Director General of Health Services, Vikas Sheel, Additional Secretary and Mission Director (National Health Mission), Vishal Chouhan, Joint Secretary (Policy) and other senior Health Ministry officials.
