The Australian Government has awarded A$50m to two research teams to develop a device that brings back vision to blind patients suffering from degenerative retinal conditions.
The Australian Government will spend A$500m ($632m) to cut waiting times for hospital emergency services to a maximum of four hours. The government also will provide A$150m ($139m) of additional funding from July to states and territories to cover the cost of moving toward the target.
